Kruger National Park – from Olifants River to Skukuza

In the second part of our tour through the Kruger National Park, we leave the Olifants River and head towards Skukuza.

We meet among others wildebeest, springbok, impala, baboons, giraffes, elephants and exotic birds. Turtle and badger also cross our way.

The animal skeletons show that man does not carry out any interventions in nature here.

View from Skukuza to old railway bridge

Skukuza is located in the south-west of the Kruger National Park only 70 km from the Mozambique border and is the main camp of the park. The old railway bridge still reminds the fact that the railway line, built in 1912, led across the National Park. The railway track was closed in1974.
