Journey on the Li River in China - Part2

Yangdi Cun
The Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo in China is due to its characteristic karst mountains of the most beautiful landscapes of China. Worldwide, no comparable landscape formation is known.

In the second part of our journey, we pass the Langshi scenery, past picturesque sandy beaches and bizarre karst cones.

In Yangdi Cun is a pile dwelling settlement of a Chinese nationality. Tourists who have enough time can stay in a pile dwelling hotel.

Cormorant fishermen, merchants, agricultural laborer and grazing cattle seamlessly fit into the landscape.

Past the Painted Cliff and Yellow Beach this video shows the Li River up to the city of Xingping.
A mountain formation near Xingping can be seen also on the Chinese 20 Yuan note.
